"I would want others to see my work because I feel that my epilepsy has caused a surreal, visionary quality to surface. Before and after a seizure, I feel like I am waking up from a dream-like state. That has inspired me to work from dreams, childhood memories and visions and has tinged the work with a sense of loss. Some people with epilepsy have experiences that are not about words and can only be expressed through the creative arts. I would also like to see the work of the other participants."
