Hall, Amanda
USAI've always enjoyed painting, but felt a stronger connection to it after once feeling my creativity was betrayed after my first seizures and learning more about it. I have felt that my circumstances were neither something to be praised nor condemned, but it has urged me to pursue my art further, with an inkling that I may see the world a little differently because my experiences have been unique.
Epilepsy is viewed as an affliction where I live, and some even compare it to a mental illness or disability. I would like people to understand that people with epilepsy are dealing with it just like everyone else is dealing with something in their lives.
