"Because of epilepsy and migraines I threw myself into many art and craft interests. All my life I have found that my brain was constantly thinking about what next to do. Busy hands are important to me. Because of this I coped with my chronic conditions by thinking about something else, and my darling family were always there for me. Nothing is impossible if you really want to do it. I will begin my 3rd year studying Visual Art at The Gordon R.M.I.T. Geelong, and I paint every day and simply love it. My plan is to teach art to those who have not been as lucky as I have been."

"I have always wanted to go to the Police Force and suggest that a Red Cross course that includes all about epilepsy must be placed into the course of learning to drive a car, and thus many lives would be saved."
