Australia (Professional Artist 2009)

“As an artist I need to show my work to others, to let them know this is me, this is what I can do. I want people to understand that I am an ordinary creative person who just happens to have epilepsy. We are not disabled and can contribute to society in an intellectual and meaningful way. There are some who still think people with epilepsy are mentally disturbed in some way. Education and information is the way to help change this perception.
